„The feeling to have the full pressure on the edge and to play with the forces while trying to be the fastest in the course, still pushes me to new limits and motivates me to give the best every day.“

Curriculum vitae

Born in Brixen and grown up in Schabs. I made my first attempts on a snowboard at the age of 9 and quickly found a - for that time - very professionally organized Snowboard association in Villnöß (FSP Villnöß) that supported me. Investing a lot of energy and passion I was soon successful and won my first races on a regional level. In the year 2000 I got part of the regional squad and participated in the first FIS races. From 2000 until 2005 I attended the sports high school in Sterzing. After winning the “Coppa Italia” I got part of the B-squad of the Italian national team with which I especially competed in European Cup races and made my debut at the World Cup in Bardonecchia (ITA) in 2004. After some victories in the European Cup and after several qualifications for the finals in the World Cup I entered the A-squad of the Italian national team in 2008. Besides my pro career I studied economics in Innsbruck.
